Highways
Tennessee State Highway's 20, 48 and 99 plus US Highway 412 connect the Hohenwald Area with major arterial and interstate
highways. Interstate 40 is 40 miles to the northwest and Interstate 65 is 40 miles to the east.

Railroads
Railway service is provided by South Central Tennessee Railroad (SCTR). The local shortline service connects with CSX in Dickson,
Tennessee. Service is provided on demand with daily service available. Two of the Industrial Parks in Hohenwald border the railroad.

Truck Lines
Hohenwald and Lewis County are served by all the national and regional motor freight carriers operating in South Central Tennessee.
There is one local carrier and several other carriers within a 50 mile radius. Federal Express, United Parcel Service, Emery Worldwide
DHL and Pony Express provide regular scheduled service.
Water Transportation
The nearest port facility is at Florence, Al. with services provided by the TN Southern Railroad, INC. The port is located on
the Tennessee River 62 miles south of Hohenwald.
